Description:
Normally, after a user enters a WR for a Corrective Work order and submits it, the status will shows as “In Approvals” and the “Workflow to Date” screen will show a line entry for the “Action Taken”. Occasionally, newly entered Work Requests show up with wrong status and no workflow to date. The example below (sent separately via email to Rick Chicorli) is for a newly entered and submitted corrective Work Order. This WO shows a status of “In Scheduling”, and the “Workflow to Date” screen shows no entries at all. The “Expected” workflow looks as if the originator never even sent the WR to the next step. The workaround for this problem is for the System Administrator to log into 4Site and advance the workflow beyond the “In Entry” step into approvals. The originator can usually not do this because they only have WR access, not WO access. So far, this problem has only been seen on WRs entered by sturner, and looked at by rburleigh before they are approved. It does not occur for all WRs entered by Stan, and an attempt yesterday with Stan to report the problem was not successful. However, it has been observed again today on WO#1427.
