Create PO from Bids window does not allow blank PO Prefix
Symptoms:
If POPREFIXMAND = "Y", the new purchase order is often being created with the default/first prefix in the list as the users are not forced to select the applicable prefix.
Solution:
A blank has been added to the list of prefixes (as it already was if the POPREFIXMAND = "N"), forcing the user to select a prefix rather than accepting the default, which may very well be incorrect. A similar change has been made to the routine which creates purchase orders from purchase requisitions. In addition, keep track of the supplier being used for searching for POs in the database when the user returns to the Browse form.
