Allow a folder of attachments for an equipment.
Enhancement Description:
Windows folders are created to store documents of all types pertaining to a specific equipment. A way is needed to relate the folder to the equipment and have an easy way to display the contents of the folder.
Solution:
A new column was added to the equipment record to store a Windows folder path which is entered on the Equipment Definition screen. Toolbuttons were added in Equipment and Work Orders to open Windows Explorer at the specified folder for a selected equipment.
