Account Balance report opening balance still wrong in some cases
Symptoms:
The opening balance is wrong if you run the report for a start date in any prior fiscal year. It always shows $0. It's only OK if you run for the current fiscal year, 2007.
Solution:
Patch 4.27.8 changed how the opening balance was calculated, but did not handle all combinations of closed years and selected periods. It now calculates the opening balance the same way the Trial Balance does - sums all actotals for the account except where period = yyyy00. This fixes the problem.
