Stock Expedite report is blank
Symptoms:
Client has outstanding stock reorders. No reorders are displayed on the Stock Reorders Expedite Report. Clarification: The report's internal query filters the result set based on existence of a supplier prime contact (supcon.primeyn = "Y"). One work-around is to ensure that stock suppliers have a supplier contact segment defined. Having a supplier contact segment allows the report to display contact data such as contact name, fax, phone. The optimal solution is to display outstanding stock reorders regardless of the existence of a supplier contact.
Solution:
The report was revised so that: - if a supplier contact is specified, the contact name and contact data will be displayed following the supplier id, and then the reorders for that supplier. - if no supplier contact is available, only the supplier id and name will be shown, followed by reorders information. Note: The Oracle version of the report file (oexpreo.rpt) was tested but not modified, since it already behaves as expected.
