All cause codes are entered with 'Equipment will fail" check box on.
Symptoms:
When entering a new "Cause of Problem" code under the "Edit" menu in Work Orders, if you leave the "Equipment will fail" check box UNCHECKED and hit the Save button, the system sets the "Equipment will fail" box to CHECKED and that's what you see if you reopen the code that you've just saved or add that code to another type of equipment.
Solution:
The work order codes entries have been reformulated to make clear that the "Equpment will fail" attribute of a code belongs to the code and not to the type of equipment on which the code is applicable. You may now add a code to an equipment type by selecting the code from a list of codes. If you wish to create a new code, you may do so by adding the code to the list, and then selecting the new code for an equipment type from the list.
