PM Audit Capability
Symptoms:
PM work orders seem to be created inconsistently. To aid in the diagnosis of PM problems, create an audit of PM record changes. Create an audit record . every time a pm task is created; and . when a trigger is added or changed. Create a report that dumps these audit records for a task, program, etc. to indicate when each task occurred along with its trigger definitions. Plus, redesign and implement a completely new PM workorder implementation that allows a user to view the upcoming PM tasks and select those for which work orders should be created.
Solution:
Fixes include: 1. Added PM Audit Capability 2. Added recurrence trigger types. 3. Removed lead time. 4. Added ability to split the PM run into more specific run definitions. 5. Redesigned the calculation of when work orders are triggered. 6. Addition of meter types: a. Amount Remaining\Used b. Fluctuating 7. Ability to revert back to the legacy triggering system. 8. Rewrote the pm open screen. 9. Enhanced many toolbars to use system colors rather than grey. 10. Force work order rewrite. 11. Task form changed to use a real tree rather than a simulated tree in a list. 12. Added reason column to pmtask table. The value explains why the task was triggered. 13. Removed the tabs on the trigger screen. All fields are now viewable at the same time. 14. Removed the calendar when using the new triggering system. 15. Equipment validation improvements. 16 Cyclic likeness is no longer allowed. eg. "Equipment A" like "Equipment B" and "Equipment B" like "Equipment A"
