Account not found posting receipt
Symptoms:
Attempting to post a receipt resulted an error that the # account plus expense element did not yield a valid G/L account.
Solution:
This problem was caused by a commodity that was loaded with a trailing space. When comparing the PO line commodity with the list of valid commodities, no match was found, so the expense element was set to blank, hence the expense account did not exist. The processing of commodities now trims trailing spaces before comparisons are made.
