Symptoms:
Request 2512. When looking up accounts, do not show inactive accounts. Request 2510. Identify Items Preventing Account inactivation.
Solution:
The 4Site account application has been modified to hide or show inactive accounts as determined by the user of the application. Also a legend detailing the meaning of the icons desplayed beside each account in the hierarchy of accounts is displayed. The account lookup is replaced with a new account lookup. The user can choose whether or not to include inactive accounts when creating the Chart of Accounts report. When setting an account to inactive a new form is displayed listing the documents preventing the account from being set to inactive. The user is given the ability to force the inactivation of the account as long as a suspense account exists in the chart of accounts.
