Release PO created with costing to inventory control account
Symptoms:
Create a PR in Bids. Set it as New Contract - stock The costing on the original PR is the warehouse so that it can ensure all lines have a stock number on them for that warehouse. The problem comes when they use that PR to create a PO in the PR-PO copy function in PO. It creates a standing PO that is costed to the inventory control account. The PO also has both pbitemid and stocid on it. To the user it looks like a standing stock PO (but there is no such thing in 4Site), but any standing PO is considered non-stock. They normally are doing reorders against it which is fine since they are stock, however, every so often someone creates a Release against this standing PO. That makes a mess since the Release takes its costing from the standing PO so is costed to the inventory control account, yet it's non-stock. They usually call because the stock has not been updated OR the receipt shows up on the Stock By Owner account as an error since it is a transaction to the inventory control account that did not affect a stock record, so the control account <> sum of the stock values.
Solution:
Don't allow a Release against a standing PO costed to an inventory control account. i.e.: on both the PO header and the PrPoCopy forms: Test if the parent/source PO is a Release against a standing order costed to an Inventory account. If so, then display a warning/info message and do not allow creation of the new PO.
