Enhancement Description:
Provide an interface to import person records from other systems into 4Site's Persons module.
Solution:
New functionality was added to 4Site to support import services into the Persons module using text files conforming the comma separated values (CSV) standard. There is now a menu that allows the user to manage the whole import process allowing actions like: * New: to create a new import run. * Open: to look at the individual records that will be or were already imported into the database. * View: allows the user to view the original import file (CSV) in the native application, usually Microsoft Excel. * Verify: provides a mean to validate the data before actually import it. * Import: to actually insert the new information into the database. * Report: generates basic and detailed reports of the data.
