Enhancement Description:
The Stock Owner by Account report runs from the beginning of time. For some stock accounts, this can be an insurmountable amount of data (over 30,000 pages) of data in PDF format for one of our accounts. This report needs an option to provide a "Balance Forward Date". This date would be used to calculate balances from the beginning of time up the balance forward date, and then the detail would be listed from that point to the report ending period date.
Solution:
2 applications (1) sttotals.exe - Provides functionality to create balance forward records. - Launched via RunJob. (2) stkbyone.exe - Replaces the p4s#stkbyown SQL Server proc. - Provides functionality to query the database, store the results in a result table and launch the stock by owner reports. - The reports are now supported on the ORACLE platform. - Launched via RunJob.
