Sort pay code pull down by paycode
Enhancement Description:
In timesheets, the pay code list is coming up randomly i.e. it doesn’t list by code or alphabetically. Is there any way to change this so it sorts by code? At the very least, it should sort by code as ‘Regular Pay’ should come up first or as the default. Also, currently the ‘Stay on Save’ button is not checked as the default – any way to make it checked as the default?
Solution:
Prior to this change the pay code list was sorted by multiplier and then additive factor for the pay codes. In most usual cases, the standard rate, day shift should appear first in the list. The pay code list can now be sorted by pay code, or by the multiplier and additive factors as before, based in covalue entry DEFAULTS\TSPAYCODESORT. The stay on save check box now behaves as follows: . On first running the Time SHeet application, the check box is not checked on. . If the user checks the stay on save button, the button will remain checked on even after closing the detail form and entering a new time sheet header. When the user exits the Time Sheet application, the check box will revert to its unchecked value.
