Symptoms:
When account is 'picked' using the lookups in most apps (voucher, journal entries, bank rec etc.) wrong message comes in (says subledger is mandatory when it isn't). When account is typed in, just the warning comes in.
Solution:
When the account lookup was rewritten, two of the columns from the account that used to be returned from the lookup were dropped. Thus, in most cases, the value for the sub-ledger mandatory flag flag was blank. As a result the subledger check could produce unpreditable results depending on how the check was written in each application. The account lookup now returns all of the required fields from the account record.
