"Invalid file extension" error adding attachments.
Symptoms:
I have attached 2 documents that are both .docx files. The first one “FRM 5.3.10….” will not attach, whilst the 2nd one “Daily Electrical…” will attach.
Solution:
The routine that determines the extension of an attachment was confused by the presence of periods within the file name. The search for the period seperating the file name from the file extension from the first chaacter in the file name to right most character of the file name.
