Cheque Spill Over - wastes cheque, screws up chq numbering

Cheque Writer doesn't record a wasted cheque number if multiple stubs
Symptoms:
I am currently doing a cheque run and I noticed that if a cheque spills over the number of items a cheque can handle, it puts the cheque sequence out of order….I now have to void a pile of cheques to fix the numbers….Accpac used to account for the spill over by using the cheque blank, and just numbering it the correct check number. Can 4-site do this?
Solution:
If the number of items on a cheque stub esceeds the maximum number possible, that cheque is marked as void and the overflow items are continued on the next cheque, which becomes the number for the vouchers on both stubs.
