Background transaction posting job does not rerun.
Symptoms:
The Transaction Posting run appears to run but has a status of Incomplete. It does not resubmit itself, so the only recourse is to kill it and create a new run or run it manually. From Bob: Here’s everything I’ve found out, in writing, for your reference: The transaction posting background job is not running. When a job is setup and scheduled it attempts to run at the correct time but goes to a status of "Incomplete". There is no subsequent job submitted. The transactions then pile up until the transaction poster is run manually. This is done from time to time by our Controller when he’s doing JVs and other accounting which is why we haven’t(thankfully) seen any issues in the system in day to day use. This means to me that the poster has not been running since the upgrade. I checked the trndtl table and it had transactions waiting. As soon as I ran the processor they disappeared from the query.
Solution:
Add the current org id to the parameter list sent to the #actrpos.sql db procedure.
